FredNotAmused Sincerely Enjoys the Music of Connor Desai
"Connor Desai's Latest Music Release titled Use Your Hands (her second album) is my first time hearing this very good artist. The first thing you notice is her airy vocal style. She sounds like she's very much enjoying every word she sings. The song I very much enjoy listening to is a tune called Ruby. It's more up tempo than the other tracks I heard. It's romantic. I've been listening to most of the tracks and love the play between the instruments." - FredNotAmused

Connor Desai Receives Show Recommendation from Three Imaginary Girls
"If you fear either sincerity or sophistication, Hands may challenge you. It has no pretenses of fitting into contemporary trends, and yet it reminds me of great singer-songwriter albums associated with Pacific NW history, and would be a smart choice to have on shuffle with Rusty Willoughby's new solo release and Norfolk & Western's one just out. Thoughtful, adult music unafraid to knead out the worries of the day with a little dreaming and storytelling, whispering and playing." - Three Imaginary Girls

Adam B. Features Connor Desai on Distirbution 101's Pop Shots Column
"Singer/songwriter Connor Desai stopped by Pop Shots this week and revealed why a character from Sesame Street is one of her biggest musical influences. Of course, since this is Pop Shots you know everything is seasoned with a little bit of attitude." -Distribution101.com

Jazz Music Examiner Raves About Connor Desai
"Connor Desai’s voice has been compared to that of Norah Jones, a little Edie Brickell, a little Rickie Lee Jones, some Sara Bareilles, Ingrid Michaelson, Regina Spektor. Yeah, a little. But this Seattle artist is an extraordinary voice all her own, able to deftly flow over jazz-funk bass notes or American folk guitar strumming, to present her own short stories of relationships, friendships and a leaning toward an easy, breezy life view." -Jazz Music Examiner

Seattle Show Gal Reviews Connor Desai's Album Release
"She is sure to melt your heart with her sultry, silky voice and fine-tuned jazzyness with a hint of bouncy pop. What’s best is that the ever-smiling Desai cites indie sensation Phoenix and their groundbreaking album Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix as her recent musical inspiration, so you know her style’s infused with modernity. Connor Desai Brings Music to New Audience
"Seattle folk/rock artist Connor Desai is about to take her music to a new audience, a much younger audience, for different reasons. For one, she’s about to release new brand new album, Use Her Hands, and last week she had a CD release party at a nigthclub with, of course, grown-ups. For a forthcoming show, she decided to go to where her own kids like to go for fun: a video game arcade, so she’s going to perform at Full Tilt Ice Cream in Seattle (at the Columbia City location, 5041 Rainier Ave S. (Google map) on Sunday, June 27th. It is of course all-ages, but it is a children’s arcade so leave your adult drinks and smoking substances at home." - This is Book's Music
